International Development

MartinJenkins has contributed to a wide variety of international development work for New Zealand and international aid agencies, regional institutions, and Pacific governments. This has included advising New Zealand’s government agencies in their international development programmes, as well as advising on and evaluating programmes for international development agencies and partner governments. 

The Pacific Region 

A number of our consultants have extensive first-hand experience working in and with Pacific countries.  Our people have strong Pacific cultural competency and close connections across a range of countries in the region including Cook Islands, Solomon Islands, Samoa, Tonga, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, Fiji, Niue, Kiribati, Vanuatu, and Tokelau. We have engaged with local businesses and communities, regional and multilateral agencies, government and provincial government agencies, civil society NGOs, other donors, and international organisations. Our team also has engaged with Pacific communities in native languages via interpreters and using local translators to complete surveys with non-literate people.
